Spring Daisy Dress

I had a day off yesterday and I have finished my yellow jersey dress :) I am really happy with how it has turned out, especially as without the sleeves it looked a bit drab and like a nightdress!  So here is the finished dress.
It is made of bright yellow jersey (it is actually brighter then the pictures show) which I originally bought to make a dress for my brothers girlfriend which never really came about and they aren't together any more anyway.  I used Simplicity 3622 which I have used before to make the long sleeved dress (view B) and really liked it so this time I made view D.
It has elastic in the waistband and sleeves in three sections to create a summery gathered look.  The dress was a little large last time I made it so I went down 2 sizes and this one fits me alot better.  The sleeves look better when you can see them on a person.

Not the best picture but you can see it fits the bust and sleeves well.  It is quite see through so I think I will have to wear it with a vest and leggings or a slip in the future as the jersey on the bottom half is quite thin.  I added the daisy trim to the neckline as I wanted to jazz it up a bit and there is a lot of lace effects around at the moment.
I machine sewed it down the centre of the trim then hand stitched the outer edges of the daisy to try and stop it curling up in the wash which I know it is prone to do.  Close up:
I am trying to make a garment each month so this one was actually February's which I failed at finishing in time but if I make March's project more quickly I should be ok.
